This page points a camera at the road it actually watches.
Open it from the device that registered the camera and it finds
the key by itself. Otherwise paste the camera token you were given when you
registered it.
This camera is registered as carried (driving mode). A carried camera
has no watched road, so there is nothing to aim — its sightings carry their
own position.
Drag from the camera toward the road it watches. That sets the
direction and how far it can see, in one movement.

Off by default, and off is a fine choice. Your camera's own position is
never published either way, and turning this off does not stop the
camera contributing sightings.
Why turning it on helps: it is the honest half of the project.
Anyone can see exactly which stretch of road is being recorded, and
therefore where they are not. A map of patrols with no way to check
where the watching happens asks people to take it on trust.
Why you might leave it off: the stretch is a real, named piece of
road. In a town that tells nobody much. On a quiet road where yours is
the only house overlooking it, the road plus its name can point at your
home. If that describes where you are, leave this off.
